
David Stephenson/Lexington Herald-Leader (Belle Owen and Show Biz Time waited to take to the show ring in the three-gaited junior exhibitor 14 and under class during the first night of the 70th Annual Lexington Junior League Horse Show.)
Since 1937, more than $3.6 million has been raised through the horse show to benefit regional charitable organizations. On average, members donate over 28,000 hours of volunteer service annually to the community worth an estimated $491,400.
The Junior League of Lexington is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.
Reserved seating in the grandstand is available Friday and Saturday for $15. To purchase reserved seating, contact Christy Smith at [email protected]. General admission tickets may be purchased at the door for $8 Friday and Saturday. Children six and under are admitted free.
