Allentown, N.J.
- Leading contenders for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team headline the entry list at the 2016 Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event (JFI) presented by B.W. Furlong & Associates, which returns to the Horse Park of New Jersey, May 11-15. As the last qualifying selection event for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team that will compete in the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this year's JFI provides a great chance to see some of our country's best horses and riders in person!

Current entries include JFI 2015 division winners and international sensations Bruce "Buck" Davidson, Jr., and Lauren Kieffer, plus an impressive lineup of past Olympic, World Equestrian and Pan American Games Team members and medalists, including Phillip Dutton (USA), Boyd Martin (USA), Will Faudree (USA), Leslie Law (GBR), Jessica Phoenix (CAN), Kyle Carter (CAN) and Peter Barry (CAN), to name a few. Coming hot off their 2016 Rolex challenge, JFI also welcomes Allison Springer, Matt Brown, Allie Knowles, Lillian Heard, Joe Meyer, Ryan Wood, New Jersey's own Holly Payne Caravello, and many more!

In addition to its CCI and CIC three-and two-star divisions, this year JFI introduces an Advanced division that will bring another level of excitement to the event. Competitors in all divisions can expect a world-class Cross-Country Course, designed by Olympian John Williams, which will be a perfect test for Olympic Games' aspirants and competitors in the new Advanced Horse Trials.

JFI's experienced organizing team has spent a number of years enhancing the event to host internationally recognized divisions. Achieving their goals of creating an event that is marked on the calendar by many - and now expanding their repertoire of upper-level divisions - has been a wonderful accomplishment.

"It's thrilling to provide another nationally recognized division for riders looking to compete in an electric atmosphere alongside Olympic veterans and hopefuls," said Jane Cory, JFI's Event Organizer. "Expanding the divisions allows JFI to be a destination for more riders, especially on the East Coast, who are looking to move up and run on a top-notch course."

JFI 2015 CCI3* and CIC2* champion Buck Davidson will round the Cross-Country course multiple times with rides in both CCI divisions this year. Returning 2015 CIC3* champion Lauren Kieffer will again contest the CCI3* division with Meadowbrooks's Scarlett, with whom she placed second in that division last year, and the CIC3* with a new ride. Great Britain's 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Leslie Law returns to JFI after an extended absence with CCI3* and CCI2* rides. Long-time fan favorites Phillip Dutton, Boyd Martin, Hannah Sue Burnett, Jan Bynny, Will Faudree and Jennie Brannigan will be joined by up-and-comers Justine Dutton, Caroline Martin and Meaghan O'Donaghue, among many others. Tamie Smith also returns to JFI after her second-place finish in last year's CIC3*, from which she went on to being named Chronicle of the Horse's Overall and Eventing Horseman of the Year for 2015.

Spectators and fans can expect the entry list at JFI to remain fluid as riders re-route horses and revise schedules as the 2016 Olympic selection process moves towards culmination.
