U.S. Storms to Victory in Adequan Global Dressage Festival CPEDI3*

Lexington, Ky. - U.S. para-equestrians kicked off the 2015 season in winning style by securing CPEDI3* victory over Canada during the first week of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Led by Chef d’Equipe Kai Handt, the team of Rebecca Hart, Annie Peavy, Sydney Collier, and Roxanne Trunnell finished on a score of 415.438.

Hart (Unionville, Pa.) and her own Schroeters Romani led the way for the U.S., scoring 73.284% in the Team Test and 72.857% in the Individual Test of Grade II competition. Grade III rider Peavy (Avon, Conn.) and Rebecca Reno’s Ozzy Cooper scored 68.070% and 68.008% in the Team Test and Individual Test, respectively.

In Grade 1b competition, Collier (Ann Arbor, Mich.) scored 66.667% in the Team Test and 66.552% in the Individual Test with her own Wentworth. Trunnell (Rowlett, Texas) and Julia Handt’s NTEC Royal Dancer closed out the U.S. effort to earn scores of 66.304% and 64.928% in the Team and Individual Tests.
