American Vaulting Association (AVA) Region II is home to some of the U.S.'s most storied and successful vaulting clubs. The Northern California, Northern Nevada region has produced National Champions, FEI World Cup competitors, and numerous U.S. representatives at international competitions around the world. It's no surprise then that the regional championship in this stronghold of U.S. vaulting is a competitive one. That competition was especially stiff this past weekend in the Women's Gold Division.

On Stanford for her compulsory and freestyle tests and Pepper Jack for her Technical Test, Woodside's Emily Hogye proved to be the best. Over three rounds Hogye's impressive 8.054 score led her to the top of this field (top 5 are shown)
