by US Equestrian Communications | Jan 5, 2023, 1:53 PM

US Equestrian’s Annual Meeting takes place in person Jan. 12-14 at the Lexington Central

Bank Convention Center in Lexington, Ky. Check out our online resources, including the event schedule and where to find special content and on-demand video.

The full event calendar and profiles of speakers are here.

New This Year: “Working Together for Our Future” Workshop

The meeting’s theme is “Working Together for Our Future.” That’s also the title of a newly designed two-day interactive workshop that will take place Thursday, Jan. 12, through Friday, Jan. 13. The goal is to bring together industry leadership and members to discuss and address the changing landscape and current challenges facing equestrian sport. Topics will include animal-related activism, federal oversight of sport, safeguarding equine and human athletes, and social media’s impact on organizational reputation. Speakers from the fields of risk management, human and horse welfare, and more will offer their insights.

The sessions will be recorded and video will be available at usef.org/network within the week after the meeting.

Award Galas

The meeting’s signature evening award galas, honoring members and their horses, return to center stage. The Pegasus Awards take place Thursday, Jan. 12, and the SmartPak/USEF Horse of the Year Awards Celebration is the evening highlight on Saturday, Jan. 14.

The Pegasus Awards and Horse of the Year galas will be recorded, with video available on demand at usef.org/network within the week after the meeting.
