On the fourth and final day of vaulting competition, World Championship titles were decided in the Pas de Deux, Individual Female, Individual Male, and Squad divisions. A packed crowd at the Zénith witnessed the best of the best in the discipline of vaulting perform their Second Round Freestyle Tests in front of the judging panel of Sue Detol, Elzbieta Dolinska, Anita Flamand, Véronique Girard, Pavla Krauspe, Anna Kull, Helma Schwarzmann, and Karolina Wickholm in hopes of bringing...

The last U.S. Vaulters to compete at WEG, the squad from Woodside, have finished up. They improved on their previous freestyle score by earning a 7.861 score.

Kristian Roberts & Gabe Aniello completed their final Freestyle tests of WEG today and they have finished in 11th and 12th place respectively .

After a very good freestyle test this morning, Mary McCormick finishes the Women's Individual Vaulting competition on a score of 8.112. That has guaranteed her a top five finish in Normandy.

Pas de Deux medals were the first vaulting medals to be awarded at WEG today. Though U.S. pairs finished off the podium, they weren't far off. Leading the U.S. effort were Kimberly & Cassidy Palmer in 5th place. Finishing just below them were Mary Garrett & Kristian Roberts.

The third day of vaulting competition was another exciting one at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, with the Individual Female and Male competitors performing their Second Round Technical Tests and the Pas de Deux pairs taking to the main arena in the Zénith for the first time. Kristian Roberts has earned a 7.745 for his freestyle test. That score has guaranteed that he will advance to the final stages of vaulting competition at WEG.

Patrick Stevens has earned a 7.002 score for his freestyle today. He is still waiting to see if his Championship score will be good enough to advance.

Gabe Anielloe, vaulting on Ferdinand 194 Lunged by Bettina Gross, stumbled on his dismount and earned a 7.226 score. he will advance to the next phases of vaulting competition at WEG.

Elizabeth Ioannou had the best performance of any U.S. individual female vaulter today and earned an 8.347% score. That has put her into the top 15 overall and guaranteed that she will advance to the final rounds of vaulting competition at WEG.

By earning a 7.301 for her freestyle test, Mary Garrett is still holding onto a chance to qualify for the final two rounds of competitio n. Update: Mary Garrett has officially been eliminated from vaulting competition at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
