The 2022 FEI World Championships for Eventing & Driving will be hosted in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy this fall from September 15-25, 2022, and feature the two international disciplines of eventing and driving. The FEI World Championships are held every four years, and were formerly held with all eight international disciplines together in one location. For the Olympic discipline eventing, this championship will serve as one of two Olympic qualifying events ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

The 'Impianto Sportivo Equestre di Rocca di Papa - Pratoni del Vivaro' is situated in the Castelli Romani Park, east of the Italian capital. The facilities feature an area measuring over 120 hectares in the municipality of Rocca di Papa, at an altitude of about 600 metres above sea level. This is an equestrian centre known all over the world for hosting multidisciplinary events. In 1960, the equestrian center hosted the cross country for the the discipline of eventing at the Olympic Games held in Rome.
