The 2028 Olympic Games will be held from July 14 – 30, 2028. The Olympic Games is a major global sporting event featuring summer sports. Thousands of Athletes participate in a variety of competitions including the equestrian disciplines of Dressage, Eventing and Show Jumping. The competition is held among Athletes from nations and takes place every four years the year after the Summer Pan American.

MERs FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES:
Refer to Article 521 of the FEI Regulations for Equestrian Events at the Olympic Games for the Minimum Eligibility Requirements.

For Championships & Games all Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs) must be achieved as a combination and must be clear on the obstacles of the Cross Country Test. The 1st activation of a frangible /deformable device (11 penalties) or having 1 Missed flag will still allow a MER. This includes MER obtained as per NF

Requirements: W-CH & Olympic Games 1 CCI5*-L or (1 CCI4*-L + 1 CCI4*-S)

Confirmation Result: Should the above Result(s) be obtained in 2027, one additional FEI MER Result in a CCI4*-S or CCI4*-L or CCI5*-L must be obtained after 1 January 1, 2028 and on or before June 11, 2028*

For combinations submitting multiple FEI MER/Confirmation Results, they must be achieved at a minimum of 2 different venues
