Vision of the USEF/USEA Developing Horse National Championships:
The USEF/USEA Developing Horse National Championships are a continuation of the USEA Young Event Horse Program (YEH), encouraging the development of top-level event horses in the USA. The aim of the Championships is to showcase six- and seven-year-old horses who are competing at the FEI levels.
Eligibility to Participate in the Championships:
- Horses must be competed by a U.S. FEI Athlete.
- CCIYH2*-S Championship Division: Open to horses that are six years old, per their FEI recorded age.
- CCIYH3*-S Championship Division: Open to horses that are seven years old, per their FEI recorded age.
- Athletes and Horses must meet the Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs) for the division per the the USEF and FEI Eventing Rules.
How to Participate in the Championships:
Athlete/Horse combinations that meet the eligibility requirements listed above are eligible to compete in Championships. To participate in the Championships, Athletes must:
- Submit an FEI Entry through their USEF Athlete Dashboard.
- Submit an event entry to Morven Park through the Event Entries.
