Tonna is an accomplished lifelong equestrian originally from Ribera, N.M. Throughout her youth and early adulthood, she competed in American Quarter Horse Association all-around shows, where she received a Reserve National Championship High Point Award and placed third at the World Championships. Having transitioned to dressage several years ago, she and her husband operate Faxon Equine, where they breed, import, compete, and sell Iberian horses. With her Lusitano stallion, Flash, she has won multiple Fédération Equestre Internationale Regional Championships, several United States Dressage Federation (USDF) All Breeds Awards, and placed third at the 2023 USDF Finals in the Adult Amateur Intermediate I Freestyle division. Tonna practices law in Oregon, California, Missouri, and Kansas, and brings three decades of experience handling complex litigation and high-stakes transactional matters.
