DIANE PITTS

Pitts retired from the active practice of law in 2002 after 24 years with the law firm of Jenkens & Gilchrist, P.C. She has a B.A. from Southern Methodist University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Diane also attended the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and did graduate work at Georgetown University. Diane’s interest and involvement with the equestrian community developed through her son’s eventing career. She was a member of the Board of Governors of the United States Eventing Association from 2008 to 2016, serving as Treasurer, Secretary, President-Elect and President. She was a member of the USEA Foundation’s Board of Trustees from 2016 to 2022, serving as Board President from 2019 to 2022. She also served on the USEA’s Area V Council for a number of years and was the Area V Young Rider Coordinator from 2008 to 2013. Diane has been a member of the Safe Sport Task Force, the Eventing High Performance Committee, Eventing Technical Committee, Governance Committee, Investment Committee, and the International Disciplines Council. Diane currently serves on the Legislative Committee, the Governance Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Eventing Sport Committee.  She has been a member of the FEI Tribunal since 2018 and is currently serving her second term.

Diane lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband, Kenny Rogers. She has two sons, Dr. Andrew Rogers and Dr. Stephen Rogers, two daughters-in-law, Dr. Jenna Rogers and Dr. Katie Rial, and four very special grandchildren, Mackenzie, Addie, Nolan and Sam.
