Beginning life in Kansas, I grew up on a cattle ranch learning to ride (hang on) cutting horses. I rode western until moving to Los Angeles at age 24 where I took up eventing and dressage. Dressage became my major discipline as I grew older but I also developed an interest in vaulting (as a FEI steward and USEF TD). Outside of horses my interest was finance and medicine spending many years in hospital finance. I have one daughter who is a Nurse Practitioner and rides Dressage. I have been fortunate to travel extensively in the United States and some in Europe. I am now semi-retired and actively attacking my “bucket list.” I retired in Tennessee where I have a small horse ranch where I have bred several Trakehners. I enjoy having the time to be a TD in Dressage and Vaulting and a C2 steward in USEF. I also enjoy supporting USEF as they have always been very supportive of me as a rider, owner and official over the years.
