NOAH RATTNER

Noah has been actively involved in the dressage world for the past 25 years. In the early 2000s, he successfully competed his young horse Espionage to win the ODS Futurity, Training & First Level State Championships, and a seventh place finish in the GAIG/USDF Region 6 Championships. In 2016, Noah took over DevonWood Equestrian Centre as General Manager of his family’s show and events venue in Sherwood, Ore.

As a USEF Level 5 Dressage Show Manager, Noah is responsible for managing the CDIs, Regional Championships, and other licensed events that take place at DevonWood - as well as many other shows nationwide. Noah is currently serving on the Competition Management Committee and his second four-year term as a member of the Dressage Sport Committee.

Noah is most passionate about growing horse sport and helping others advance in the competition arena or as licensed officials. He actively mentors new show management staff and helps grow talent wherever possible. In 2019, Noah was recognized by the Oregon Dressage Society with the Teresa Dunlap Award for being the person who has done the most to further dressage in Oregon. Together with his Regional Youth Coordinator, Noah has grown the USDF FEI Youth Clinic & Youth Outreach Clinic to the largest youth dressage clinic in the nation with over 30 youth athletes from all corners of the pacific northwest.

Most people would recognize Noah’s voice before anything else, as he travels from coast to coast announcing at many of the nation’s premier competitions including the US Equestrian Open of Dressage, USA Dressage National Championships - Festival of Champions, Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, and USDF Regional Dressage Championships. In 2021, he served as the voice for the Tokyo 2020 US Olympic and Paralympic Observation Events, and has been the voice of Equine Affaire/Fantasia for the past six years. In addition to announcing and managing shows, Noah serves as the Chef d'Equipe for USDF Region 6 at the FEI North American Youth Championships and was selected to scribe for the Judges Supervisory Panel (JSP) at the 2023 FEI World Cup Dressage Finals in Omaha.

When he’s not announcing or managing horse shows, Noah is also a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and always finds time to sneak in a dive wherever his travels take him.
