Louise “Lou” Leslie has been deeply involved with the USEA for over 30 years. A lifelong competitor, she develops her event horses from the grassroots through the FEI levels, helping each reach their fullest potential.
With over 15 years of combined service on the USEA Board of Governors and the USEA Foundation, Lou brings extensive governance experience to her role as USEA President.
Through her leadership on the USEA Board of Governors, as well as with the USEA Foundation Grants and Area Adult Rider Camps, Lou has spearheaded numerous educational and grant initiatives that strengthen and support the eventing community.
Lou recently relocated to Bozeman, Mont., with her husband, Neil. Their new home base provides plenty of open space for their competition horses, which include an irish Sport Horse, Hanoverian, and Thoroughbreds, each at different stages of development.
Lou remains dedicated to advancing U.S. Eventing to its fullest potential—and, as always, to “keep on, kicking on!”
