Kathy Callahan-Smith is a licensed USEF Judge in Arabians, Morgans, and Reining Seat Equitation. In addition, she is a licensed USEF C2 Steward. 

Kathy is also an accredited horse show judge with PtHA, NRCHA, WCRH, and Miniatures (AMHA). Kathy judges on the local, regional, national, and international level. 

She taught at Cal Poly University in the equine department for 14 years, teaching Horse Production, Horse Judging, Fitting and Showing, and Adult Equitation classes. She was also a trainer at the Kellogg Arabian Horse Center for five years before opening her own training facility, which she ran for 30 years. 

As a competitor, Kathy has won over 50 national & world titles with an accumulation of over 100 National Top Tens on the Arabian, Morgan, Friesian, Pinto, and Paint Horse Show Circuits. 

Now retired from training, Kathy judges and USEF stewards full-time.
