ANN JUDGE

Originally from Denver, Colo., Ann is a Purdue University graduate and has owned and operated a performance horse training facility for over 40 years. Training Arabians and half-Arabians, she has won national awards in several divisions and served as a judge since 1993. She holds cards in USEF Arabian, Western Dressage, Morgan, Western/Stock Seat, as well as in the Pinto Horse Association, the National Reined Cow Horse, and the American Miniature Horse Association (AMHA). She has judged the U.S. Arabian National Championships 7 times, the Pinto World 7 times, the U.S. Arabian Youth Nationals 3 times, the AMHA World Show 4 times, the South African Arabian Nationals, the Canadian Pinto National Championships, the Australian Miniature National Championships, and the Canadian Miniature Horse National Championships. Ann was named the Arabian Professional & Amateur Horseman's Association (APAHA) Horsewoman of the Year in 2014, 2016, and 2018, and was inducted into the APAHA Hall of Fame in 2020. She was also inducted into the Pinto Judges Hall of Fame in 2015 and named the Pinto Hall of Fame Horsewoman of the Year in 2018. When not showing or judging horses, Ann enjoys her job during the National Football League season as the rider of “Thunder”, the Denver Broncos’ mascot, and loves the thrill of riding down the field to the roar of a crowd of 75,000 fans each time the team scores.
