Valerie is a lifelong equestrian and has never once had a job outside of a stable. Growing up, she participated in Pony Club, rode Western Arabians, fox hunted, broke Thoroughbred racehorses, and galloped steeplechasers. This all naturally led to a life full of eventing, in which she has competed to the 5* level. Valerie currently runs Blue Clover Eventing in Maryland, competing and training at the top levels of the sport. She balances being a Fédération Equestre Internationale certified Level 3 Eventing Judge with her USEF S Eventing license, which allows her to enjoy officiating at Championships, Advanced, and 5* competitions globally.
