Valerie Vizcarrondo Pride has worked with horses all of her life and never once had a job outside of a stable. At six weeks old, she was riding around the horn of her mother’s saddle on their Western Arabians and then the family moved to Maryland to the heart of Thoroughbred country. She grew up in Pony Club, fox hunting, broke racehorses, and galloped steeplechasers. This all naturally led to a life full of eventing, where Valerie has competed to the 5* level.

She still actively runs Blue Clover Eventing, competing and training at the top levels. Valerie balances being an FEI Level 3 Eventing Judge alongside her S Eventing USEF license which enables her to enjoy officiating at Advanced, Championships, and 5* competitions all around the world.
