LINDA BIBBLER

Originally from California, Linda is a lifelong equestrian and has been involved with vaulting for over 30 years. She showed in the Junior and Amateur Owner Hunters in high school and college, and joined her local hunt while in grad school. She then returned to showing in the Hunters and, after meeting her husband, Jim (who was riding Dressage at the time), started Fox-Hunting together. Their children got involved with a local vaulting club when they were young. By age sixteen, their oldest daughter, Isabelle Bibbler, was coaching and competing internationally. In 1990, Linda, Jim, and Isabelle started their own vaulting club, Woodside Vaulters, which has since grown to be one of the largest and most successful vaulting clubs in the U.S., representing the country in individuals, pas de deux, and squad events at almost every Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) World Championship and World Equestrian Games (WEG) since then, including bronze medals at the WEG in 1998 and the FEI Junior World Championships in 2015. Shortly after forming their vaulting club, Linda got involved in the American Vaulting Association (AVA) and the US Equestrian Vaulting Committees. She served on the AVA Board for many years and was Vice President of Competitions, managing the National Championships from 2008 to 2015. She also served as Chef d’Equipe for the U.S. team at several European FEI Concours de Voltige Internationals (CVIs) and World Championships. She is a USEF Competition Licensee and has managed the Woodside Spring Fest and Selection Trial for many years. More recently, she organized the Pacific Cup CVI, which is now in its 14th season. As Chair of the USEF Vaulting Sport Committee, she has represented the sport on the USEF International Disciplines Council. She also serves on the USEF Competition Management Committee. Linda earned the AVA Volunteer of the Year Award in 2009, the AVA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014, and the USEF Pegasus Medal of Honor in 2014. Linda received her Bachelor's from Stanford University and her Master's of Business Administation from Harvard University. She previously served as President of the Crystal Springs School Alumni Association and as a member of their Board of Trustees. She was also Vice President and President of the Woodside School Foundation and has been a real estate broker for over 40 years.
