Molly is the 2026 vice president for the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association. She has previously been the Director at Large and on the Registration board with IALHA. Molly resides in North Texas with her husband and son on Tailwinds Farm, where they specialize in dressage, import, and sales.
I started out as a 16-year-old go-getter in the Thoroughbred racing industry, where I rode races all over the country. From there, I rode point-to-points and steeplechases in Maryland. After this, she tried cutting and reining, working up to the national level. After breaking way too many bones and tempting death far too many times in various disciplines, Molly finally found her niche in dressage and have continued this pursuit for perfection until today.
For 35 years, Molly imported and bred Swedish Warmblood horses and had a stallion in Sweden who was a three-time Olympic finalist, nine-time Scandinavian Champion and Champion World Cup gold medalist. Molly considers herself fortunate to have been able to have had these types of experiences as an owner/ agent in the grand global world of dressage at this level.
Molly attended Louisiana Tech University, University of Texas and Colorado State University, and specialized in reproductive physiology in veterinary school. After developing a long term frozen semen extender, she was able to import fresh and frozen semen from several countries and worked with USDA to rewrite the import customs procedures and permit regulations regarding fresh semen import.
Years later, she accidentally discovered the Spanish horse through a friend and client and found that many clients could ride and compete these beautiful kind souls without fear and could be very competitive with them. Molly traveled to Spain to train and bought young horses with the purpose of training, competing, and importint to the United States for sale. Molly says she still loves her Swedes and have several but my attention has diverted to the Spanish horse.
Molly am very happy to be working with the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association and the United States Equine Federation to further educate members on the wonderful attributes of the Andalusian and Lusitano horse.
"I am excited at the prospect of not only getting to further my own knowledge as well as sharing knowledge through education practices and procedures with IALHA and USEF," Molly said.
