Lisa’s story begins in the American West, where her Colorado upbringing and Pony Club roots sparked a passion for horses that carried her to Europe to train and compete with the best in the world. Early coaching with Jan Ebeling opened the door to Germany; in 1994 she crossed the Atlantic to study with the late master Herbert Rehbein at Gestut Gronwohldhof, immersing herself in the language, the system, and the discipline that would define her career.
Lisa’s most impactful partnerships have included Royal Diamond, Rohdiamant, Relevant, Hickstead, and Pikko del Cerro HU. Lisa has won a team silver at the 2002 FEI World Equestrian Games, team bronze at the 2004 Olympics, and individual silver at the 2003 European Championships, CDI-W and CDI3* wins, along with multiple national championships, among other honors. Lisa later transitioned to coaching and today operates an elite training stable in Wellington, Fla. where she works with students from the U.S. and abroad using the skills and perspective she honed in Europe.
