Elected by the National Breeds and Disciplines Council to fill the Arabian breed seat, Lisa Blackstone joined the USEF Board of Directors in February 2026. Having been involved in the equine industry since childhood, she has earned multiple National Championship titles and holds an "R" license judging national Arabian events for over 25 years as well as managing her family-owned Arabian horse breeding/training farm.
Professionally, Blackstone is a skilled attorney with over 25 years of experience as a general civil litigator specialized in equine drug and medication regulations and the adjudication of violations. She is a founding and current member of the Equine Section of the Georgia Bar and a certified Mediator.
As an active volunteer Blackstone currently Co-Chairs the USEF Hearing Committee, Chairs the USEF Licensed Officials Committee, serves on the USEF Ethics Committee, and is the current AHA President.
