Kathie is a fourth generation Arabian horse breeder and rancher with a lifelong dedication to the Arabian industry and broader equine community. Over the years, she has contributed her time and leadership through service on numerous committees, foundations, commissions, boards, fundraising initiatives, and youth organizations. With more than 50 years of experience in the show ring, Kathie has earned over 60 U.S. national championships across a wide range of disciplines, including Pleasure Driving, Hunter Pleasure, Reined Cow Horse, Park Horse, Western Pleasure, Country Pleasure, Working Cow Horse, Reining, Ranch Riding, and Halter. Many of these accomplishments were achieved with homegrown horses bred, developed, and trained at her own Vallejo III Ranch, LLC. Kathie’s daughter, Audrey, continues the family tradition of successfully breeding, exhibiting, and marketing horses. In addition to her work in the equine industry, Audrey operates a photography and videography business, and manages a horse training program based at Vallejo Ranch.
