The endurance race at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games kicked off at 7:00 a.m.local time on Friday, as 165 horse-and-rider combinations headed out on the five-loop track, all hoping to be the first to finish at the end of the day. A slippery, muddy course didn't yeild much to U.S. endurance horses and riders today. 4 of the 5 horses that started in Sartilly were pulled at vet checks along the way, but Jeremy Olson & Wallace Hill Shade were able to complete the course. They are in 32nd place provisionally before tomorrow’s final horse inspection.
