US Equestrian recognizes 11 different breeds that are affiliated with US Equestrian.

Each of the 11 breeds can compete in breed-specific, US Equestrian-recognized horse shows that allow them to show off their talents among other horses of the same breed. These horse shows are an exciting part of the US Equestrian world!

Disciplines

US Equestrian recognizes 18 disciplines, ranging from nationally- to internationally-recognized equestrian sports. Each sport requires different skills from horse and rider, and all have different levels of competition, allowing competitors to grow through the levels of the sport. The horse shows that are held for each of these disciplines is an exciting part of the US Equestrian world!
