With just 10 FEI starts, U.S. bred Karma, owned by Ric Plummer and Alliston Equestrian, has quickly established herself to be a top eventing contender alongside athlete James Alliston. In 2022, the duo kicked their partnership off with a podium finish at Twin Rivers International Horse Trials CCI3*-S, followed by a victory at Galway Downs International CCI3*-L.  

In 2023, they continued to impress with a top ten result at the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI4*-S and wins at both the Twin Rivers International Horse Trials CCI4*-S and The Event at Rebecca Farm CCI4*-L. Their standout performances earned them a spot on the U.S. Eventing Team for the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Netherlands CCIO4*-NC-L, where they helped the team to a fourth-place finish.   

By 2024, Karma and Alliston were named to the Eventing Pre-Elite Program List and selected as a team alternate for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The duo was also selected to represent the United States at the CHIO Aachen CCIO4*-S in Aachen, Germany, placing individually in the top ten and contributing to the team’s silver medal finish.  

Entering 2025, the duo was once again named to the Eventing Pre-Elite Program – a testament to their potential and partnership.
