Fernhill Zoro, owned by Cassie Sanger, is a seasoned eventing competitor with 25 FEI starts. He began his FEI career with USA rider Alice Roosevelt, until Sanger took over the ride in 2022. The duo quickly found success, securing podium finishes at the Fair Hill International CCI3*-S and MARS Bromont CCI3*-L. 

In 2023, Fernhill Zoro and Sanger were selected for the Eventing 25 Emerging Athlete Program and placed top five at the Event at TerraNova CCI4*-S. The duo was also selected for the U.S. Eventing Development Tour and competed in the FEI Eventing Nations Cup Poland CCIO4*-NC-S, contributing to a silver medal finish for the U.S. Eventing Team. 

Their success continued into 2024, helping Team Leslie win the USEF Futures Team Challenge at Carolina International. That year, Fernhill Zoro and Sanger earned podium finishes at Bramham CCIU254*-L and Bromont CCI3*-L after being selected to the U.S. Eventing European Development Tour and FEI Eventing Nations Cup Great Britain CCIO4*-NC-S.
