Connory has been partnered with U.S. eventing athlete Jennie Brannigan since his 7-year-old year in 2019. He finished on his dressage score at his debut at the FEI level in 2019 in the CCI2*-S at Great Meadow International and followed it up with another fault-free finish in the CCI2*-S at Plantation Field.

In 2021, “Sean” and Brannigan won the CCI3*-S at the Fair Hill International April Horse Trials. Their winning streak extended through the first months of 2022, including first-place finishes in the Open Intermediate at Red Hills International and the CCI3*-S at Stable View Spring Horse Trials. Sean picked up his first CCI4*-S win in 2023 at The Maryland International and was named to the U.S. team for the CCIO4*-L at Boekelo in the fall of that year. In 2024, he finished third in the CCI4*-L at The Eventing Championships at Galway Downs in California.
