As part of the team competing in the CPEDI3* at the Caledon Spring Jubilee in Ontario, Laurietta Oakleaf earned a team second place in 2019 with Windsome, her 2004 Rhinelander mare. Oakleaf finished in the top three with two horses—Windsome and City Girl—at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival 2 CPEDI3* in January 2019. Oakleaf is a veteran competitor who enjoyed a long partnership with Niekele Fan Busenitz, Katherine Kuss’s 2004 Friesian stallion,. Together, the pair won first place in all three of their Grade II tests at the 2017 USEF Para Dressage National Championships in Tryon, N.C. They made a clean sweep of the Grade II division at Wellington in January and March of 2017. Oakleaf trains with Lisa Hellmer in Ocala, Fla.
