During a break in competition at the LRK3DE, make sure to check out the many activities organized by US Equestrian sponsors and affiliates. Are you dying to meet a LRK3DE athlete? Do you want to learn more about a different breed or discipline? The following information will point you in the right direction. Additional details will be added as they become available.

Thursday, April 25

  • Athlete autograph signings at the Land Rover Ultimate Stable: meet Sharon White (12:00 p.m.) and Doug Payne (1:45 p.m.). 
  • The Land Rover Off-Road Test for adults (21 years old and above) and the Land Rover Start Off-Road Teen Driving experience (for teens 14 years old above) will be open. All adults will be breathalyzed before participating as part of Land Rover protocol. 
  • Mirimichi Green hayride cross-country course preview during Thursday’s lunch break: open to the public, but advance sign-up is required. Spectators can sign up inside the US Equestrian booth located next to the Land Rover Ultimate Stable. 
  • John Deere giveaway: John Deere, located in the Sponsor Village, is hosting an enter-to-win giveaway. Complete an entry for a chance to win a T-Series Gator or Z335E mower.
  • US Equestrian Demonstration Arena starting at 4:00 p.m.: check out the US Equestrian Demonstration Arena to view demonstrations from the American Saddlebred Horse Association and American Connemara Pony Society

Friday, April 26 

  • The Land Rover Off-Road Test for adults (21 years old and above) and the Land Rover Start Off-Road Teen Driving experience (for teens 14 years old above) will be open. All adults will be breathalyzed before participating as part of Land Rover protocol. 
  • Athlete autograph signings at the Land Rover Ultimate Stable: meet Hannah Sue Burnett (12:00 p.m.) and Hallie Coon (1:45 p.m.). In addition, take photos with the miniature horses from the Peeps Foundation (3:00 p.m.).
  • Mirimichi Green hayride cross-country course preview during the lunch break on Friday as well as at 3:00 p.m.: open to the public, but advance sign-up is required. Spectators can sign up inside the US Equestrian booth located next to the Land Rover Ultimate Stable. 
  • John Deere giveaway: John Deere, located in the Sponsor Village, is hosting an enter-to-win giveaway. Complete an entry for a chance to win a T-Series Gator or Z335E mower.
  • SmartPak cross-country course walk following dressage: SmartPak is celebrating 15 years of course walks and giving away several awesome prizes. The first 500 people to visit the SmartPak booth on Friday will receive a free gift. Visitors also can enter to win a Charles Owen MIPS helmet or a limited-edition YETI cooler.
  • Catch the Kentucky Invitational $36,000 Welcome Speed Cup CSI3* in Rolex Stadium at 6:00 p.m. A ticket is not required, as the event is open seating.

Saturday, April 27 

  • Visit the Land Rover tailgate and catch the best view of the cross-country course.
  • Athlete autograph signings at the Land Rover Ultimate Stable: meet Liz Halliday Sharp and Caroline Martin (immediately following cross-country). In addition, take photos with the miniature horses from the Peeps Foundation (time TBD).
  • The Land Rover Off-Road Test for adults (21 years old and above) and the Land Rover Start Off-Road Teen Driving experience (for teens 14 years old above) will be open. All adults will be breathalyzed before participating as part of Land Rover protocol. 
  • John Deere giveaway: John Deere, located in the Sponsor Village, is hosting an enter-to-win giveaway. Complete an entry for a chance to win a T-Series Gator or Z335E mower.
  • Attend the Kentucky CSI3* Invitational Grand Prix presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute: competition will start approximately one hour after the conclusion of cross-country. Tickets cost five dollars plus taxes and fees, with one dollar of each ticket sale going to the official LRK3DE charity, Bluegrass Land Conservancy
  • US Equestrian Demonstration Arena starting at 3:00 p.m.: check out the US Equestrian Demonstration Arena ring to view demonstrations from the American Vaulting Association, American Saddlebred Horse Association, and American Connemara Pony Society.

Sunday, April 28 

  • Athlete autograph signings at the Land Rover Ultimate Stable: meet Lynn Symansky (9:00 a.m.) and Phillip Dutton (approximately 9:30 a.m.). In addition, take photos with the miniature horses from the Peeps Foundation (11:00 a.m.).
  • Champions Live! presented by the United States Eventing Association, United States Hunter Jumper Association, and United States Dressage Federation: open to anyone with a Sunday ticket to LRK3DE. This will be located inside the spectator-seating tent across from Rolex Stadium and will start shortly after the final horse inspection. 
  • The Land Rover Off-Road Test for adults (21 years old and above) and the Land Rover Start Off-Road Teen Driving experience (for teens 14 years old above) will be open. All adults will be breathalyzed before participating as part of Land Rover protocol.
