Aachen, Germany – The Defender U.S. Eventing Team moved up nearly five places on the leaderboard in the SAP-Cup throughout the three phases to ultimately clinch a well-deserved second place finish. Aachen, Germany – The Defender U.S. Eventing Team holds third place overnight as they look towards the final phase of cross-country in the SAP Cup CCIO4*-S at CHIO Aachen. The team, led by Chef d’Equipe Bobby Costello, produced solid scores keeping them within reach of the top five after the dressage phase, with the team then producing four consecutive clear rounds in the Main Stadium for their jumping phase later in the day. Aachen, Germany - The NetJets U.S. Jumping Team finished ninth in the Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup CSIO5*, finishing on eight faults in the first round. The team unfortunately did not qualify for the second round, alongside Switzerland, who also finished on eight faults, as only the top eight teams returned for the second round.
