Alice Tarjan

Alice Tarjan has a history of success competing her own young horses through the levels. In 2020, she took home multiple titles from the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions, including the Markel/USEF Developing Horse Grand Prix Dressage National Championship with her Oldenburg mare, Donatella M. She was reserve in the same class with her KWPN stallion, Harvest.

At the 2021 U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions, Tarjan again won National Champion and Reserve National Champion honors in the Markel/USEF Developing Horse Grand Prix Dressage National Championship with Serenade MF and Harvest, respectively.

In 2022, Tarjan and Serenade MF were part of the silver medal-winning team at the FEI Dressage Nations Cup The Netherlands CDIO5* at CHIO Rotterdam, where they also finished third individually in the Grand Prix Special. The pair was named the first alternate for The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team at the ECCO FEI World Championships. Upon returning to the U.S., Tarjan and Serenade MF won the USEF Grand Prix Dressage National Championship at the  U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions. They then won the CDI-W Grand Prix and Freestyle at Dressage at Devon.

Tarjan and Serenade MF started off 2023 with fifth-place finishes in the CDI-W Grand Prix and Freestyle at the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival Week 5. The pair competed in their first FEI Dressage World Cup™ Final in Omaha, finishing ninth in the Freestyle.
