Missouri Breeders Challenge Now Accepting Stallion Service Donations

The Missouri Breeders Challenge Stallion Service Auction will be held Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at the American Royal in Kansas City, MO, at the Exhibitors’ Club immediately following that evening’s performance of the horse show. A registration desk will be set up just inside the Exhibitors’ Club for interested bidders to sign up prior to the auction. A BBQ meal catered by Kansas City’s famous Jack’s Stack will be served preceding the auction.

Stallion service donations are still being accepted. Those interested in bidding but unable to attend may contact Jacqueline Wessel at (573) 819-2970 to make arrangements. The Missouri Breeders Challenge Weanling Stake will be held Tuesday, November 13, at the American Royal, where it is held each year with weanlings shown in hand. Stallion owners receive 25% of the prize money won while foal owners receive 75%. This year’s estimated payout is $32,000.
