US Equestrian’s Annual Meeting was held at the Omni Hotel in Louisville, Ky. Highlights from the event included the USEF general session, workshops, and award dinners. The USEF/SmartPak Horse of the Year awards dinner was held Saturday evening, where HH Azur took home the International Horse of the Year title, and Paradigm was recognized as the National Horse of Year. Sunday evening, the Pegasus awards dinner took place which spotlighted Lifetime Achievement Award winner Cecile Dunn. After a popular vote, McLain Ward was awarded International Equestrian of the Year and John French took home his title of National Equestrian of the Year
