USEF LogoMotivated by its commitment to the welfare of the horse, the USEF Board of Directors voted to amend its Therapeutic Drug Rule and restrict use to a single NSAID beginning December 1, 2011. Both the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) supported the rule change, and USEF now joins other organizations including the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and Equine Canada in implementing this important rule change.

Wellington, FL - Totilas, the reigning dressage world champion and current world record holder in the grand prix freestyle, is coming to the 2012 World Dressage Masters Palm Beach presented by International Polo Club Palm Beach, at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center January 26-29, 2012. This will be the only public appearance of this legendary stallion during his visit to North America. The WDM Palm Beach CDI5* will run concurrently with the Wellington Classic Sunshine Challenge CDI3*/CPEI3*.

The 2011 Young Horse Show Series Year-End Championship will award $10,000 in total prize money and will be held on December 8-9, 2011, at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) in Wellington, FL. The final round of the competition will be held in the evening on December 9 at the International Arena and will include a stallion show of six to eight stallions.
