Charlotte Babbitt and her own Dutch Warmblood gelding, 2 A.M., climbed the ranks together, progressing from Training to CCI2*-L over the course of the 2018 season. That year, they won the CCI2*-S at Woodside International Horse Trials and the CCI2*-L at Galway Downs International. They were also fourth place in the Preliminary Youth Rider division at the USEA American Eventing Championships.

In 2019, Babbitt and 2 A.M. continued their success with a fourth-place finish in the Woodside International CCI3*-S. Babbitt was the individual gold medalist at the 2019 North American Youth Championships CCI2*-L. In 2020, they won the Advanced at Copper Meadows before going on to their four-star debut, placing seventh in the CCI4*-S at Twin Rivers Fall International.
