Nine Olympians Highlight Open Jumper Division at Alltech National Horse Show

Lexington, KY - Nine Olympic veterans, including four gold medalists, highlight the talented roster of riders scheduled to compete at this year's Alltech National Horse Show at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, on November 2-6, 2011.
This year's debut event in Kentucky, designated a CSI-W 4*, will feature a big money Open Jumper division with more than $370,000 in prize money, including the main event, the $250,000 Alltech National Horse Show Grand Prix, an FEI World Cup qualifier, on Saturday night. Aurora, CO - The Arabian breed's premier sport horses gathered for the Ninth Annual Sport Horse National Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship Horse Show (Sport Horse Nationals) at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, from Sept. 28-Oct. 2, 2011. Unique among breed shows, Sport Horse Nationals offers classes in the sport horse divisions for registered Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses, including hunter/jumper, dressage, carriage pleasure driving, sport horse under saddle, and in-hand classes. Lexington, KY - Taking place across the rugged terrain of California's Cascade Mountains, the 2011 North American Endurance Team Challenge drew 10 teams from the U.S. and Canada race for medals. In addition, five individuals representing four countries vied for individual honors.

Poplar Place CIC and Horse Trials - Qualifying for the fall CCIs continued to keep the eventers busy, Becky Holder won the CIC3* on Can't Fire Me on the strength of immaculate jumping. Clark Montgomery won the CIC2* wire-to-wire on Reignman and Lara Borson-Knight scored in the CIC1* with Shooby Do adding just 2.8 time faults to her dressage score.

The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (USEF), as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, para-equestrian, reining, show jumping and vaulting, as well as 20 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition.
