World Dressage Masters Palm Beach a Resounding Success |

Wellington, FL - The 2011 World Dressage Masters Palm Beach presented by International Polo Club Palm Beach finished in spectacular style as eight of the world's top dressage pairs performed grand prix freestyles for a sold-out audience of 1,200 at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in West Palm Beach, FL. Excitement built as the evening progressed, with the final competitor, Olympic and World Equestrian Games medalist Steffen Peters of the United States, putting the crown on the evening with a dynamic and nearly flawless ride on Ravel that earned him 84.55%, the highest score ever awarded at the WDM Palm Beach.

70th Annual Midwest Charity Horse Show Announces 2011 Judging Panel | |
Lexington, KY - The Board of Directors of the Midwest Charity Horse Show invites all to attend its 70th anniversary edition, set to take place June 14-18, at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield. In addition to celebrating its 70th year, Midwest also will celebrate the honor of being named 2010 UPHA National Honor Show of the Year. Officiating this year's show are David Cater, Dunbarton, NH; Kim Cowart, Statesville, NC; and Renee Lavery, Simpsonville, KY. The panel will judge the performance classes in the Saddlebred, Roadster and Hackney divisions, as well as equitation. Lavery also will judge the Morgans, and Richard Wright, McHenry, IL, will judge Arabians. Midwest Charity Horse Show is held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds Coliseum and runs five days with class sessions at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., daily.

Boyd Martin to Host Live Call-in on Eventing Radio Show | |
Lexington, KY - United States Team Member Boyd Martin will be the special guest on the Eventing Radio Show's first live call-in program tonight (Monday, March 21) from 7-8 p.m. ET. Boyd will take listeners' calls from around the world and around the sport of eventing. The number to call - (347) 637-3238 - also will be posted on the Eventing Radio Show's website at www.eventingradio.com. Boyd said he is looking forward to this unique opportunity to take listeners' questions about any issue in the sport or just to have a chat. Boyd is a regular co-host on the Eventing Radio Show but this will be the first time the program has broadcast a live call-in show.

Wellington, FL - The ninth week of the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) has come to a close at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. Saturday Night Lights at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival brought a crowd of more than 4,200 spectators to watch Brazil's Rodrigo Pessoa and Let's Fly jump to victory in the $231,000 FEI World Cup™ Grand Prix CSI 4*-W presented by Bainbridge Companies. Pessoa earned the winning cut of prize money after an exciting jump-off of many of the top horses and riders in the world. Top NRHA Professionals to Host an NRHA Clinic in Colorado | |
Oklahoma City, OK - Two of the nation's top NRHA Professionals are coming to Colorado for the 2011 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Regional Clinic Series May 21-22. NRHA Professionals Randy Paul and Tracer Gilson will once again share their expertise to benefit reiners of all ages and experience levels at Skyline Ranch in Carbondale, CO. NRHA Professional Randy Paul reached one of the industry's great milestones by becoming a Million Dollar Rider in 2008. Paul has had a long and outstanding career with multiple NRHA Futurity and Derby championships. Tracer Gilson, an NRHA Professional with over $344,000 in earnings, brings a lifetime of experience to share with clinic participants. Gilson grew up in the NRHA with multiple Top Ten youth finishes and, in 2006, placed fifth in the NRHA Novice Horse Open Top Ten standings.

Wellington, FL - Steffen Peters swept the 2011 World Dressage Masters Palm Beach presented by the International Polo Club, dominating both the grand prix and the grand prix freestyle at Jim Brandon Equestrian Center in Wellington, FL. The California combination scored a personal best CDI Grand Prix score of 80.872% and a freestyle score of 84.525% at the only CDI5* in the United States. Tina Konyot and Calecto V were second in the grand prix and third in the freestyle to complete a strong showing for the United States.
