Vale galloped to victory in the 1.40 m Jumpers at the Johnson Arena, outlasting 42 other competitors for the victory. In the 1.30 m Jumpers at the Walnut Ring, Vale was even more impressive as he grabbed the top five prizes in a class of 56 starters.
