San Juan Capistrano, CA - Drawing riders from across the nation, the USEF National Junior Hunter Championships - West Coast event was an action-packed two days of great sport and a chance for the Junior Hunters to stand center stage as they displayed their talents in three phases: a handy hunter round, a classic round, and an under saddle phase. When the dust settles, it is the horse with the highest cumulative score that takes home the title and a year's worth of bragging rights.

Brandon, Manitoba - The Canadian National Championship Arabian Horse Show was moved this year after more than 20 years in Regina, Saskatchewan. The new location in Brandon, Manitoba, is further to travel for some and closer for some others. Brandon is the second largest city in Manitoba (after Winnipeg) but its population is just 40,000 compared with Regina's 180,000. National Show Horse Registry WIR 2-25-11Springfield, IL - The 2011 National Show Horse Registry (NSHR) Finals return to Springfield September 22-24 in the Coliseum at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. This Week in International Disciplines 


Gloucester, England - In England, many eventers traveled to The NAF International Hartpury Horse Trials just outside Gloucester. In Section D of the CIC3*, Will Faudree and Andromaque finished in fifth place on a score of 55. The pair only added .4 of a point to their dressage score throughout the weekend after finishing one second over the optimum time on the cross-country. Bill Levett of Australia and One Two Many NJ won this section finishing ahead of Great Britain's Sarah Cohen on Treason and Kitty King riding High Havoc.
