Traverse City, MI - For Yvonne Barteau and KYB Dressage, the journey north from Maple Park, IL, proved to be quite fruitful as she and her mounts GP Raymeister and GP Delano took home both blue ribbons in this week's feature money events.

McLain Ward Finds Plenty of Time in the Winners Circle at Spruce Meadows

Calgary, Alberta, Canada -

USA's two-time Team Gold medalist McLain Ward and Vocas won the $31,000 Talisman Energy Cup during "Canada One" at Spruce Meadows on Saturday. Mario Deslauriers, also of the U.S., placed second, and Eric Lamaze of Canada came in third. On Friday, McLain also bested an international entry of 52 to win the WESTJET Cup at Spruce Meadows. Riding his 10-year-old Dutch gelding, Pjotter, Ward piloted two clear rounds, with a blazing trip around the jump-off course of 42.52 seconds to defeat Deslauriers.

Pope, Cosper and Hartman Claim 2011 USEF National Youth Reining Championship Titles

NRHA derby WIR 6-20-11Oklahoma City, OK - Michael Pope's 7-year-old horse, Whizota, "tried his heart out" and that determination edged the pair over their competitors into first place. Pope, Elizabeth Cosper and Olivia Hartman were crowned USEF National Youth Reining champions of three separate age groups at Saturday's 2011 National Reining Horse Association (NRHA) Derby.

Saratoga, CA - Several U.S. vaulters participated in the CVI competition in Saratoga, CA. Patrick Stevens took home the win in the Male Senior CVI2*with a score of 7.195, while Joseph Gadd came in second with a 6.247. In the competitive Female Senior CVI2*, Mary McCormick took home the win with an impressive score of 8.219.
