2010 United States Equestrian Federation Clinic Calendar Now Online

The 2010 Calendar listing USEF seminars and licensed officials’ clinics is now available online at www.usef.org under Licensed Officials/Continuing Education/2010 Calendar or at www.usef.org/newsletterLicensedOfficials/2010schedule.html . Additional FEI courses will also be posted on the website as they are approved. All seminar and clinic applications will be available online as soon as possible or approximately four months prior to the date of the event.

Maui Jim Horse Trials to Offer Novice Divisions in 2009

In addition to the regular divisions of competition, the Maui Jim Horse Trials has added novice to its 2009 schedule. The dates are July 9-12. The event will run CIC***, CIC**, CIC*, advanced, intermediate, preliminary, training and novice and will take place at Lamplight Equestrian Center and the Pratt Wayne Forest Preserve in Wayne, IL. These are also the venues for the American Eventing Championship in September.

American Warmblood Registry Selected to Host International Competition

For the first time, a registry outside Europe has been selected as the host for the International Young Breeders World Championship. The American Warmblood Registry is honored to host the 2010 Competition in North America. Preparations are already underway for the arrival of teams representing more than 50 foreign sport horse registries. The American Warmblood Registry will announce the date and location of the International Young Breeders World Championship in the coming months.
