This course is a very good One Star track that uses the arena well and is not too technical. While the 3/4 ab line, of a triple bar to a double of uprights, is something you would see at a higher level, here it is set on a curving nine strides. This gives a good introduction to this type of question but with enough room to adjust the stride between fences, and at 26 feet, the double is not too tight. At Three or Four Star level this line would be made more technical by being set on four or five strides, with a tighter distance in the double.
The triple combination comes within the second part of the course, going towards home, and is unrelated to any other jump. Again, a good introduction. Although containing two oxers, the first is ramped.
The Course Designer has put together a video of the course plan along with pictures of each of the beautiful jumps and the number of times they were faulted. I am including this video along with this report as I am sure people will find it interesting. You may need to pause the video to study all of these. The video concludes with a competitor negotiating the course.
