Q: If I plan to show my pony at a USEF competition in the Welsh division, can he compete barefoot or does he have to be shod?
A: No. Per USEF rule WL105, ponies may be shown barefoot. Foals and yearlings are required to be shown barefoot.

Q: I am competing in the English Pleasure Class prior to competing in the Pleasure Driving Class and do not have time to change to driving attire. Can I wear my riding attire in the driving class?
A: Yes. Juniors and Adults riding in the competition may wear their riding clothes in driving classes. However, they must have gloves, apron and whip or the driver will be penalized as stated in WL108.

Q: The Welsh Hunter Section included a model class in addition to the other three classes. Do I receive any points for model classes for zone or year end awards?
A: Yes. Per USEF rule WL110, if a model class is offered in addition to the required classes in that section, you will receive half points for the model.
