Eventing Frangible Technology Program

The USEF Eventing Technical Committee offers a Frangible Technology Grant Program which provides frangible devices or grants to supplement the purchase of frangible devices to organizers of licensed USEF Eventing Competitions held at the Preliminary height level and above.

Competitions taking place between December 1st, 2011 and November 30th, 2012 may submit a request for frangible devices or program funds. Requests must be submitted by no later than November 1st, 2012. Requests must be complete and include the type and quantity of frangible devices to be (purchased and the type/level of fence(s) in which the device(s) will be used. Frangible devices will be distributed to applicants upon receipt of complete applications. Additionally, the USEF will allocate program funds to organizers wishing to utilize Pro Logs not inventoried by the USEF, to support the purchase of those items upon receipt of proof of purchase.

The maximum grant amount or the equivalent in frangible devices will be up to $500.00 per property. Competitions wishing to purchase frangible devices above and beyond those covered by grant funding are entitled to place orders with the USEF and will be invoiced for the balance.
