Licensed Officials Renewal

Renewing your USEF Membership and Licenses

1. Sign in to your My USEF My Way My Account. If you do not have a My USEF My Way My Account, you must first create an account.

2. Under the Membership Options, click on 2009 Membership Application/Renewal/Life/Questionnaire/License Renewal

Step 1: Confirm: Read the Notice and click Continue.

Step 2: General Info: Read the information and click Continue.

Step 3: In Competition Renewal: If you complete an USEF online application in the competition office, on your lap top in the barn or hotel room, or home computer during a competition, you must put the competition number in this section of the online application in order for your membership to have the start date of the competition and HOTY points to count. Ask the competition secretary for this number. If you are not at a competition, hit continue.

Step 4: Member Info: Verify and/or make changes to USEF information. Click Continue. Fields marked in navy are required. You will not be able to continue with your application until the fields are completed.

Step 5: Select Breeds/Discipline Affiliation: Please select your primary breed/discipline affiliation. This is a required field.

Step 6: Dues: Select the appropriate breed/discipline dues and affiliation.
A. Senior Breed/Discipline Dues: If you selected Senior as your membership type, you will select the additional breed/discipline dues according to the breed/discipline in which you or your horse compete. You can select one or more breed/discipline categories.
B. International High Performance (IHP) Dues: For Platinum, Senior and Junior members, if you compete in international competition as defined in GR204.3 of the USEF Rule Book, you must also select the appropriate IHP dues.
C. USHJA Membership: If you are also competing in open hunter and/or jumper competitions, you must become a USHJA member or pay a non-member fee.   If you are a Category 1 Steward, Jumper Course Designer, or a judge in the Hunter or Jumper divisions, you must be a Senior member of USHJA in order to officiate USEF open (not breed restricted) classes.
D. All membership types must select a primary breed/discipline affiliation. The secondary selection is optional. The primary selection will be marked in the column under (1) and the secondary selection will be marked in the column under (2). If you select Other, please type the breed/discipline in the box next to it.
E. Licenses: Select the licenses that you are eligible and desire to renew. If you are renewing a national level license, the Professional Liability Insurance is automatically added to your total fee. If you are renewing only FEI licenses, you can check the Insurance box for optional coverage.
Click Continue.
*If you do not select a primary breed/discipline, you will not be able to continue.

Step 7 (if applicable): USHJA Membership: If you choose Hunter or Jumper as one of your primary affiliations (step 4) and compete in non-breed restricted hunter and/or jumper divisions at USEF licensed competitions, you must become a USHJA member or pay a non-member fee at the competition.
