Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Bridgestone
International Reining and World Championship Freestyle to be Held During 2011 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by Bridgestone

(EEI), producer of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event, and the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), have announced that the Kentucky Reining Cup, which includes international reining and the first-ever World Championship Freestyle, will be held in addition to this year's event at the Kentucky Horse Park, April 28-May 1. One of the world's most prestigious equestrian competitions and the only CCI**** in the Western Hemisphere, the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event annually attracts 50-100,000 spectators and millions of viewers on international telecasts including a 60-minute domestic broadcast on NBC.

World Dressage Masters Coming to Palm Beach

Wellington, FL - The women have dominated the Nespresso Battle of the Sexes for three years now with another exciting win in Saturday evening's dynamic competition. The women's team, captained by Katie Prudent, and including riders Georgina Bloomberg, Ashlee Bond, Brianne Goutal, Lauren Hough, Maggie Jayne, Reed Kessler, Candice King, Laura Kraut, Christine McCrea, Catherine Pasmore and Nicole Simpson, swept the three phase competition with 37 points over the men's score of 25 to win their third title.

Lexington, KY- For the first time the Adequan FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships presented by Gotham North (NAJYRC) will add a Junior Championship in the sport of Reining in 2011. Reining joins the Dressage, Eventing and Jumping disciplines in hosting International FEI championships for Juniors and Young Riders. The three Olympic Equestrian Disciplines were expanded to officially include a junior championship in 2006.

Wellington, FL - Daphne Preece's four-year-old Lusitano gelding, Bon Orphco, showed the judges he has what it takes to be a champion when he rode away with the High Score Lusitano Award at the Gold Coast Dressage Opener Festival CDI. Sponsored by the Lusitano Collection, hosts of The 2011 Lusitano Collection International Horse Auction, the High Score Lusitano Award is presented to the highest scoring Lusitano at select dressage shows during the Florida dressage circuit.

North American League Riders Take Aim on Year-End Finals

As point tallies are increasing, so too are excitement levels as the NAL prepares to host its first ever dual year-end Finals. The NAL will maintain its traditional year-end Finals in six divisions - Children's Hunter, Adult Hunter, Children's Jumper, Adult Jumper, Pony Jumper, and the Low Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper - at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA, in October, while adding new West Coast Finals (in all divisions except Pony Jumpers) at the Las Vegas National Horse Show in Las Vegas, NV, in November.

Jumping

Thermal, CA - Two familiar names jumped to the top of the $50,000 Strongid C 2X Grand Prix, presented by Pfizer Animal Health, which served as the first of four FEI World Cup Qualifiers at Thermal in California. Rolex/FEI World Cup veterans (they were second in 2008), Rich Fellers and Flexible got back to business and won narrowly over Richard Spooner and Cristallo. Amateur Rider Karl Cook and Uno de Laubry were third. These three combinations were the only short course clears out of the field of 27 - 11 of which went forward to the jump-off.
