Update Your USB Drive Rule Book Today

Please Note: these instructions might vary depending on the specific version of Windows / Mac OS you have installed on your computer.

In order to update your USB drive follow the instructions below:

For PC Users -

1. In your internet browser, navigate to http://www.usef.org/documents/Rulebook/flashimage.zip and follow the prompts to download the zip file (flashimage.zip). It is recommended to download this file to your desktop for easy accessibility.
2. Locate the file flashimage.zip. Right click on the file and select "Extract All". If this option is not available, select open with "Compressed (zipped) Folders". After the folder opens, you should be able to select "Extract all files" under Folder Tasks.
3. Once the files have been extracted locate the extracted folder called "flashimage" and open the folder.
4. You will need to copy the contents of this folder onto your flash drive to replace the existing files. To do this click Edit from the top menu and select "Select All". Click Edit again and select "Copy".
5. Insert your USB drive into an available USB port on your PC (if not already there) and navigate to the drive contents using My Computer or by selecting the "Open Folder to view files" from the Auto Play feature.
6. In the USB drive window, click edit and select "Paste". You will be prompted with a window stating that the files already exist, would you like to replace the existing files. Select Yes to All. Once this completes your USB drive now contains the updated image. Updated instructions for the USB version of the USEF Rulebook can be found on our website

For Mac Users -

1. In your internet browser, navigate to http://www.usef.org/documents/Rulebook/flashimage.zip and follow the prompts to download the zip file (flashimage.zip). It is recommended to download this file to your desktop for easy accessibility.
2. Locate and double click the file flashimage.zip. This will extract the files into a folder called "flashimage". Locate this folder and open it.
3. You will need to copy the contents of this folder onto your flash drive to replace the existing files. To do this select all the items, press the command button and select "Copy Items".
4. Insert your USB drive into an available USB port on your Mac (if not already there) and navigate to the drive contents by locating the drive on the desktop or using the Finder icon on the dock menu.
5. Press the command button and select "Paste Items". You will be prompted stating the files already exist in this location, do you want to replace them. Click the "Apply to All" check box and select "Replace". Once this completes your USB drive now contains the updated image.
