Attention Eventing Competitors and Officials: Clarification on Eventing Rule

The Executive Committee has approved the following rule clarification, effective immediately:

EV APPENDIX 3 - PARTICIPATION IN HORSE TRIALS [Chapter EV. Eventing Division]
Effective immediately:
3. LEVELS OF INTERNATIONAL HORSE TRIALS AND EVENTS
In all instances, at least one of the QRs must have been obtained in the current or preceding calendar year. All competitors and horses must meet the minimum requirements published by the FEI.
3.2 CCI* Both the competitor and the horse, though not necessarily as a combination, must have achieved 4 ~~IQRs~~ NQR’s at any combination of: CNC*, CCN*, CIC*.

It has come to our attention that there is an error in the colored Supplement to the rulebook involving this same rule.

The correct number of QRs required for a CCI* is 4 NQRS, not 2 IQRs, as erroneously stated in the supplement. This error only occurs in the printed, colored supplement, and this rule appears correctly in the online rulebook.
