Delaware Youth Wins "Cash" in Morgan Essay Contest
Release:
March 11 2009
Author:

By Christine Koliander
Christie Little, age nine, of Harrington, DE, is the winner of the Morgan horse, "Cash," or CBMF Walk The Line, as part of an essay contest sponsored by the American Morgan Horse Association (AMHA) and Team Morgan.
Cash was generously donated to the contest by Ann Hailey of Copper Beech Morgans in New Albany, OH, which promoted the Morgan breed and raised funds for Team Morgan to travel to and host international equitation competitions.
A fourth grader, Little has worked with her family's Morgan horses, but this is the first one she will own on her own. She hopes to someday show Cash in the Morgan show ring, and plans to learn braiding, help with extra chores, and walk dogs to earn extra money to pay for her horse hobby. You can see Christie's trip to pick up her new horse at

.
AMHA graciously thanks Ann Hailey for her dedication and support for this contest. Hailey has announced she is donating another Copper Beech Morgan horse as part of 2009's AMHA/Team Morgan contest. Any youth 21 years of age or younger is eligible. For more information on how you can win a Morgan horse, contact Christina Koliander at (802) 985-4944, ext. 17.
Founded in 1909, the American Morgan Horse Association is a non-profit organization serving more than 50,000 Morgan horse owners, breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts throughout the United States. AMHA serves as a parent organization to more than 100 recognized Morgan horse clubs and national service organizations.
