Meagan Davis and Bentley, 2010 U.S. representatives at the FEI Young Rider World Cup
The FEI World Cup™ Dressage for Young Riders is a competition at the FEI Young Rider level
comprising of qualifying Young Rider events and a Final. FEI Dressage Regulations apply except where
stated differently in World Cup™ rules.
The FEI World Cup™ for Young Riders will take place in Frankfurt, Germany, dates TBD. The
United States will receive an invitation for one (1) representative.
The qualification period is October 26, 2010 - October 25, 2011. Qualifying scores are earned by
competing in the FEI Young Rider Freestyle Test (Ed. 2009) in a CDI-Y during the qualification period.
The two (2) best Freestyle results from these CDI-Y's will be calculated to determine each horse/rider
combination's overall average. A minimum score of 65% is required for each qualifying test.
The Sponsor and Organizer of this event will provide overseas horse transportation with Peden
Transport. In addition, there will be no entry, starting, or stabling fees assessed (courtesy
of the Sponsor).
No application is necessary. USEF will automatically track CDI-Y Freestyle scores and maintain
rankings for horse/rider combinations. At the conclusion of the qualification period, USEF will
issue an invitation for the U.S. representative and will file appropriate paperwork with the
FEI and Organizer.
